This state-of-the-art, CE-certified HF heating system has been specifically developed for the rapid and uniform preheating of thermoset molding compounds (preforms) before they are fed into compression or injection molding processes.

Thermosets are poor conductors of heat. Conventional heating methods often result in uneven temperature distribution (burnt on the outside, cold on the inside). The Boyke BT-T 500-2 HF preheating system uses dielectric heating technology: the material is heated from the inside out through molecular friction. Heating control can be managed either by time settings or temperature regulation. During the process, the preform is gently rotated within the high-frequency field using roller electrodes.

 

Applications: Ideal for heating phenolic resins, melamine, urea-formaldehyde resins (UF), and epoxy resins. 

Dramatically reduced cycle times: Reduce compression cycle times by up to 50%. The material reaches processing temperature within seconds.
