Refurbishment of screws and cylinder

With our new technology for refurbishing screws and cylinder, you can boost the efficiency and service life of your plastics processing machines while significantly reducing costly downtime. Our precisely matched materials and the insert welding process specially developed by our engineers ensure an exceptionally long service life and top-tier welding quality.  Screws, mixing elements, and cylinder can be accurately measured using a laser-assisted system, while their material composition is determined via spectral analysis – enabling the selection of the ideal welding alloys. A multi-stage quality assurance process throughout the refurbishment ensures compliance with quality standards and delivery deadlines – even under time pressure. By using specialized welding materials, we improve durability when processing abrasive materials and compounds with various fillers that cause cavitation, friction, and rolling wear.

We offer a comprehensive range of components for plasticizing units used in extruders and injection molding machines – manufactured according to technical drawings or based on precise measurements, either on-site or at our facility. meltclean®

Our powerful meltclean® cleaning concentrates for injection molding machines and extruders reduce machine downtime by up to 90%, as there is no need to dismantle components. Especially suitable for rapid color and material changes, meltclean® allows you to clearly identify the ideal switching point to a new color and/or material based on the condition of the cleaning melt. Additionally, meltclean® is food-safe and meets the standards of the German Federal Health Authority as well as FDA specifications, making it suitable for cleaning machinery used in food production.
