Extrusion Systems
With our extrusion lines and extruders, we offer our customers solutions for demanding manufacturing tasks – from the plasticizing of thermosets and the extrusion of highly filled compounds to the production of pressure-resistant pipes with diameters of up to 4 meters.
EXTRUSION LINES AND EXTRUDERS
Extruders for high-tech materials
With our expertise in special-purpose machine engineering, process technology, and wear protection, we provide our customers with tailor-made systems for cost-effective and efficient production of a wide range of products – from large-diameter pipes for water management and insoles for footwear to large, molded parts made from plastic-sand compounds.
Tailor-made extrusion lines
With decades of experience in building customized extrusion systems, we support you from the very beginning – from the initial product idea to the turnkey solution. Our expertise in special-purpose machine engineering is reflected in the development of solutions for a wide range of applications, including the extrusion of profiles, films, and pipes, as well as special projects such as coatings or custom granulate production. Together with you, we develop the ideal production method and deliver a system perfectly tailored to your requirements.
Challenging Materials
Benefit from our expertise in wear protection and the processing of demanding materials that require highly precise process control. Whether reactive plastics, abrasive or corrosive additives, high-temperature materials, or hard-to-mix compounds made from thermoplastics and thermosets with filler contents of up to 80% – our systems are designed to reliably handle even the most complex materials. This ensures a durable, high-performance production setup that stands up to even the toughest requirements.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE EXTRUDERS FOR DEMANDING TASKS
Areas of Application
Whether it’s specialized bowden cables, pipes, profiles, or simply the melt preparation of advanced materials – Boyke extrusion systems stand for the realization of technologically demanding tasks with maximum flexibility and cost-efficient production. Another key application is compounding extruder mixing systems, capable of processing up to 3.5 tons of material per hour – even under extreme wear conditions.
Large-Format Molded Parts
Boyke manufactures systems for producing molded parts up to 6 meters in length and weighing up to 800 kilograms.
Precision and large tubes
From precision tubes with a diameter of 2.5 mm to coiled tubes with a diameter of 4 meters.
Compounds
Mixing and melt preparation for subsequent processing.
MIXING AND PORTIONING
Portioning extruders
Our versatile plasticizing units are designed to precisely mix, prepare, and portion a wide range of materials and material combinations. One example is the processing of shredded cork, thermoplastics, and regranulate from production waste to create high-quality plastic molded parts with unique tactile properties. To develop an optimal solution for our customer, we analyzed and optimized the outdated production process and created a modern machine concept. Technical features such as precise mixing from three dosing units and the use of advanced servo-hydraulics highlight the system’s flexibility and finesse.
Thanks to our expertise in press and injection molding technology, the machine was designed to support both discontinuous portioning and continuous extrusion – giving the customer additional options for future automation. Our solutions are always tailored to our customers’ specific needs and have already proven successful across a wide range of compounds and markets. A particular highlight is a system for mixing sand and plastic, achieving an impressive throughput of 3.5 tons per hour.
ECONOMICAL PRODUCTION OF LARGE PIPES
Spiral pipe production systems
Together with our partner bauku extrusion technology UG, we develop and manufacture extrusion systems for the production of plastic pipes with diameters ranging from 300 to 4,000 mm. Thanks to decades of experience, we are able to design each system specifically to meet the unique requirements of every pipe project. Lower system costs and reduced material consumption lead to significant cost savings compared to other technologies. In this way, we deliver reliable and efficient solutions worldwide that are perfectly aligned with your production goals.
Typical areas of application include:
Water Management:
Drinking water storage and supply, rainwater transport, sea water intake and outtake pipelines
Sewer Systems:
Storm water retention tanks, sewer pipelines, pipelines in treatment plants, discharge and overflow manholes
Industrial Applications:
Tanks for the storage of chemicals, air-condition pipes, underground safety tanks, pipelines, manholes with valves
Landfill Technology:
Drainage pipes in the waste, telescopic manholes, manhole towers, gas collection stations, leakage water tanks
PREHEATING & PLASTICIZING
Thermoset
When thermoplastics reach their technical limits in demanding applications, thermosets come into play. Whether dimensional stability, resistance to temperature and chemicals, or high thermal conductivity is required – modern thermoset molding compounds offer far more than traditional “Bakelite” materials. As your expert partner, we develop customized solutions in the field of thermoset processing.
We also support our customers in the use of specialized thermoplastics – from perfectly overmolded circuit boards to the pressed high-quality footbeds of a very well-known sandal brand.
- Maximum cost-efficiency for production systems
- Suitable for a wide variety of material groups
- Optimal compound preparation through preheating, degassing, shearing, or kneading
